Yes. The alert is designed to trigger when price touches or crosses the chosen level, whether price approaches from above or below.
Yes. Click Add Alert to create another active line immediately. New lines start in the chart centre and stack beside existing lines to avoid overlap.
Yes. The indicator includes a file-picker setting so the user can select a WAV alert sound.
The alert button changes to a yellow TRIGGERED state. Click TRIGGERED to re-arm the alert at the same price. Click ALERT ON when you want to delete an alert completely.
The selected alert level is retained when you change chart timeframes during the current NinjaTrader session.
Each Precision Alert licence is valid for 1 trading computer.
The purchase includes updates for the current major version of Precision Alert. Any future major-version upgrade policy should be stated separately before release.
Keep NinjaTrader 8, the relevant chart and a live data feed running. Precision Alert is a chart-based notification tool and cannot alert you while the platform or required market data is unavailable.

Install and set up Precision Alert in NinjaTrader 8.
Follow the steps below to import the indicator, activate your licence and start placing alerts.
Install the indicator
- Download the Precision Alert .zip file from your download email.
- Do not unzip the downloaded file.
- Open NinjaTrader 8.
- In the NinjaTrader Control Center, click Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On.
- Select the downloaded Precision Alert .zip file.
- Confirm the import if NinjaTrader asks you to continue.
Add and activate Precision Alert
- Open a chart in NinjaTrader 8.
- Right-click inside the chart and click Indicators.
- Select Precision Alert from the list and click Add.
- Paste the licence key from your licence email into the Licence key field.
- Click Apply, then click OK.
Place and manage alerts
- Click Add Alert on the chart to create an active alert line.
- Drag the gold price label beside the line to move the alert to the required price.
- When price reaches the line, the control changes to TRIGGERED.
- Click TRIGGERED to re-arm the alert at the same price.
- Click ALERT ON when you want to delete an alert.
- To enable instrument-name popups, open the indicator settings, enable Show popup on alert, then click Apply.
